Job Title: Treasury Collection Assistant

Division: Finance and Treasury

Department: Treasury, Billing and Collection

Reports to: Treasury Supervisor - Collection

Supervises: N/A

Responsibilities
  • Periodically and regularly perform duties and responsibilities as defined.
  • Prepare beginning-of-month outstanding receivable reports and assist in developing the strategy to confirm upcoming payments and collect past-due balances.
  • Execute the strategy developed by the Collections Leader to collect outstanding balances from customers.
  • Conduct collection follow-ups as needed via email, web portal, phone calls, or other medium.
  • Escalate problem accounts to the Collections Leader for resolution.
  • Be proficient in reporting routine and ad-hoc business-specific management information reporting.
  • Act as an escalation point, ensuring corrective and preventive actions from complaints meet a suitably high standard and agreed service levels.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to clients for any un-submitted Certificate of Withholding Tax (CWT).
  • Collate data, review, and ensure accurate and timely encoding of adjustment entries in the system to clear Accounts Receivable.
  • Handle duties and responsibilities at irregular or intermittent intervals as needed.
  • Review and respond to clients’ inquiries related to accounts handled.
  • Review and compute adjustments and endorse to Supervisor for approval. Encode adjustments in the system.
  • Comply with standard responsibility statements and quality management system (QMS) policies.
  • Demonstrate commitment to customers by ensuring applicable statutory and regulatory requirements are determined, understood, and consistently met.
  • Abide by QMS policies and procedures for effective management and control of processes.
  • Promote and utilize the Process Approach and Risk-based Thinking at work.
  • Perform other related functions that may be assigned by the immediate superior.
