Job Description
  • Lead the company's day-to-day treasury operations, including cash management, bank account administration, and liquidity management.
  • Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts to support operational and project financing needs.
  • Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and credit providers.
  • Monitor debt covenants and ensure timely reporting to lenders.
  • Optimize treasury processes and controls to align with best practices and regulatory requirements in the Philippines.
  • Manage foreign exchange risk exposure and recommend appropriate hedging strategies when applicable.
  • Collaborate with accounting, tax, legal, and operations teams for seamless treasury management across corporate and project entities.
  • Oversee and manage end-to-end offshore importation activities, including documentation, pre-shipment and post-shipment requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with customs clearance procedures, tariff classifications, and import duty exemptions where applicable (e.g. for renewable energy projects).
  • Track import shipments and proactively address issues such as delays, discrepancies, and regulatory bottlenecks.
  • Ensure all import transactions are compliant with Bureau of Customs (BOC) regulations, including correct declaration, tariff classification, and customs valuation.

The Successful Applicant
A Successful Treasury Officer Should Have
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of treasury functions, including cash flow management and payment processing.
  • Familiarity with financial risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Experience working within the energy and natural resources industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, with strong analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
