About Our ClientThe company is a growing entity in the energy and natural resources industry, known for its commitment to sustainability and excellence.Job DescriptionLead the company's day-to-day treasury operations, including cash management, bank account administration, and liquidity management. Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts to support operational and project financing needs. Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and credit providers. Monitor debt covenants and ensure timely reporting to lenders. Optimize treasury processes and controls to align with best practices and regulatory requirements in the Philippines. Manage foreign exchange risk exposure and recommend appropriate hedging strategies when applicable. Collaborate with accounting, tax, legal, and operations teams for seamless treasury management across corporate and project entities. Oversee and manage end-to-end offshore importation activities, including documentation, pre-shipment and post-shipment requirements. Ensure compliance with customs clearance procedures, tariff classifications, and import duty exemptions where applicable (e.g. for renewable energy projects). Track import shipments and proactively address issues such as delays, discrepancies, and regulatory bottlenecks. Ensure all import transactions are compliant with Bureau of Customs (BOC) regulations, including correct declaration, tariff classification, and customs valuation. The Successful ApplicantA Successful Treasury Officer Should HaveA degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Knowledge of treasury functions, including cash flow management and payment processing. Familiarity with financial risk assessment and mitigation strategies. Experience working within the energy and natural resources industry is a plus. Proficiency in financial software and tools, with strong analytical skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
