Position: IT Systems & Operation Lead Pay Range: $24,000-$36,000 Department: Information Technology Reports to: Office of CEO Job Location: Manila (On-Site) Job Type: Full Time Coverage Hours: PST Business Hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST) Position Overview The IT Manager will lead the design, implementation, and management of the company’s technology infrastructure to support its continued growth. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable IT operations, strengthening cybersecurity, and optimizing the technology stack to improve efficiency and reduce costs. The IT Manager will oversee all aspects of IT systems management—including device provisioning, asset tracking, network administration, cybersecurity, and user support—and play a key role in building scalable systems and policies. This position will work closely with the Office of the CEO, cross‑functional teams, and external vendors to ensure that all technology environments remain secure, compliant, and aligned with operational goals. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain a secure, scalable IT infrastructure that supports all operational and administrative functions. Asset Management: Deploy and manage IT asset management systems (e.g., Sortly, JumpCloud) for device tracking, lifecycle management, and reporting. User Support: Oversee help desk operations and ensure timely resolution of user‑reported issues via remote troubleshooting tools (e.g., ScreenConnect). Cybersecurity: Build and enforce a robust cybersecurity framework including endpoint protection, user access control, and network monitoring. Policy & Compliance: Develop and implement IT policies, user education programs, and security standards aligned with company compliance requirements. System Optimization: Review and streamline the company’s tech stack to improve performance, reduce redundancies, and drive cost efficiency. Project Implementation: Lead technology‑related initiatives (e.g., equipment rollout, system migration, automation projects) from planning through execution. Collaboration: Partner with department leads to support operational goals, identify technology gaps, and recommend solutions that enhance productivity. Qualifications Demonstrated experience managing international IT operations in a growing, multi‑site or globally distributed organization. Strong knowledge of IT systems, asset management platforms (e.g., JumpCloud, Sortly), and remote support tools. In‑depth understanding of cybersecurity best practices, including endpoint protection, user access control, and network security. Experience developing IT policies, compliance documentation, and user education programs. Familiarity with HIPAA, SOC 2, or other regulatory/compliance frameworks is a strong plus. Education & Experience Required: Minimum of 10 years of professional IT experience, including at least 2 years in an IT leadership or management role. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is a plus. Proven track record of successfully implementing IT projects, managing cross‑functional initiatives, and leading systems optimization efforts. Skills & Competencies Leadership & Strategic Thinking – Ability to lead IT initiatives that align with business goals and scale with organizational growth. Technical Proficiency – Strong hands‑on experience with system administration, asset management tools, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity tools. Problem‑Solving & Analytical Skills – Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop scalable solutions. Communication Skills – Clear and professional verbal and written communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Project Management – Skilled in planning, executing, and overseeing IT projects from concept to completion. Attention to Detail – Precise documentation and meticulous follow‑through on tasks involving compliance and security. Vendor & Budget Management – Experience managing vendor relationships and optimizing technology budgets. Success in this role will be measured by: Uptime and reliability of IT infrastructure across all operational environments. Timely resolution of support requests and user satisfaction with IT services. Successful implementation of IT projects within scope, budget, and timeline. Adherence to internal security policies and external compliance standards. Reduction in IT‑related incidents through proactive system monitoring and risk management. Cost savings or efficiency gains through technology stack optimization and vendor negotiation.
