The role: Accounts Payable (AP) role to manage a company\'s financial obligations to suppliers and creditors. This involves processing invoices, verifying payments, and maintaining accurate records of all outgoing payments. AP professionals also play a key role in ensuring timely payments to vendors and building strong vendor relationships. The accounts payable team handles the payment management side of the business, ensuring vendors are paid in a timely manner and payments are properly funded. Analysis is done to understand which vendors to prioritize and to take advantage of cash discounts where available.
