We are expanding the team and are seeking candidates who express hunger and drive to join us on an exciting journey. This is a full-time role based in the Philippines. You will work closely with a team of top-tier investors and entrepreneurs. This is ideal for an analytical and meticulous professional who is passionate about the VC industry and motivated to make an impact on the ecosystem.

Responsibilities
  • Shape investment ideas and investment thesis through the analysis of research and market trends across SEA
  • Conduct extensive market research for investment opportunities across SEA
  • Perform in-depth research and write high-quality analysis that contributes to TNB Aura’s investment methodology
  • Train interns on TNB Aura’s investment methodology and research methods
  • Identify data-driven insights and trends from large data sets, with a focus on quality, accuracy and actionability
Requirements
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in business/finance/economics from a top-tier school
  • 2 or 5 years of professional experience in a research environment
  • Strong analytical, financial analysis skills, with advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in producing research addressing alternative markets, such as Venture Capital
  • Ability to work independently and within a team context
  • Attention to detail, thorough and organised
  • Ability to identify key drivers of business models and clarify ambiguity
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and cope with the start-up culture
