The Senior L2 engineer will serve as the sole onsite IT resource, handling escalations, infrastructure maintenance, and user support . The role requires strong technical expertise, independence, and familiarity with collaboration and contact center tools, as well as intermediate networking and routing skills. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong ownership, be a spontaneous thinker, quick learner, and a proactive worker.The candidate should also be ready to support US users remotely on a need basis. Key Responsibilities Independently manage IT support operations for all users at the Vee8 location. Provide advanced L2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and enterprise applications including Teams, Zoom, Webex, Avaya, Citrix, VMware Horizon, Calabrio, and Cisco Finesse. Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware/software issues and ensure minimal downtime. Administer and maintain endpoint devices using ManageEngine Desktop Central, Intune, and WDS. Support and troubleshoot AnyConnect VPN connectivity and remote access issues. Handle onboarding/offboarding, device provisioning, and access management. Monitor endpoint performance and implement improvements. Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting. Collaborate remotely with L1/L2 teams and elevate issues when needed. Lead automation and scripting efforts using PowerShell and Bash. Participate in audits and ensure adherence to IT policies and standards. Provide remote support to US-based users and systems as required. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of experience in endpoint support and infrastructure management. Strong proficiency in Windows 10/11, macOS, and Linux. Hands‑on experience with ManageEngine Desktop Central, Intune, and WDS. Experience supporting Webex, Finesse, Calabrio, and AnyConnect VPN . Intermediate‑level knowledge of networking and routing, including DHCP, DNS, switching, and basic firewall concepts . Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, Office 365, and MS Teams. Mandatory scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash. Certifications: ITIL, MCSA (preferred: MD‑100 / MD‑101, CompTIA Security+). Soft Skills Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong ownership and accountability mindset. Spontaneous thinker and quick learner. Proactive work ethic and ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficient in documentation and reporting.
