MIS Senior Supervisor

Overview Manulife Makati, National Capital Region, Philippines Role reports to the Agency Information Management & Reporting Lead (who reports to Agency MIS & Analytics Head, under Distribution Operations & Analytics Department) and has the following key accountabilities: Responsibilities Accurate and timely release of Agency performance reports to effectively monitor the Channel’s various performance KPIs, performance & achievement vs. targets Accurate and timely release of management reports for various stakeholders (CAO, Sales Management Teams, Regional Office and other business units) Accurate and timely release of periodic sales promos, incentives and conference results to monitor agents and leaders vs. promo mechanics and drive the objectives of the sales campaigns Collaborate and work closely with various key stakeholders (Finance, IT, Sales Management Team, other Agency support teams and business units) Position Responsibilities Information Management & Reporting: Active involvement in company projects & initiatives, providing relevant data and insights based on capacity as project POC/SME Provide insights and analysis resulting in data-driven recommendations Simulation & processing of Financing Programs and Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) of SMTs Preparation & timely release of periodic sales performance reports to monitor Channel performance on various KPIs (APE, headcount, activity, productivity, etc.), ensuring reports are processed and released timely and in a well-organized manner Preparation & timely release of reporting requirements for both local and regional stakeholders Release of periodic updates for promos, incentives, contests and conferences, ensuring results align to the mechanics, including post-contest requirements Data consolidation enabling creation of visual dashboards (charts, graphs, diagrams, etc) of various KPIs for presentation and analysis Continuous improvement and enhancement of current reports with periodic review to ensure relevance to key strategies and KPIs Creation of new reports as required by channel strategy Work process documentation Other Responsibilities Active participation and involvement in Distribution projects, programs & initiatives Close coordination with various departments (Agency distribution and other business units) Individual Accountabilities Meaningful and easy to understand Agency performance reports Local & regional Agency dashboard reporting (PowerBI, Qlikview Tool) Other production and performance related reporting requirements for Agency Financing programs and sales incentives plan (for SMTs) validation Agency promos, incentives, contests, conferences, tactical drives monitoring and validation MIS Portal Support Key Shared Accountabilities Monitor and drive Agency KPIs and sales drivers to influence agent behavior and target achievement Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Business Management or related courses 2-3 years of experience in the life insurance industry in a distribution performance reporting role Knowledge Preferred Qualifications Excellent grasp of Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint Ability to derive key insights from large datasets Knowledgeable in financial spreadsheets preparation, trend analysis, data simulation and report commentary writing Skills & Competencies Strong numerical & data processing skills Attention to detail, accuracy, methodical & process oriented Ability to prioritize deliverables and multitask Ability to work independently and complete assignments within the SLA Positive attitude and ability to work in a team Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines Good written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills Technical programming skills, data processing & simulation Working Arrangement Hybrid Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Industries Insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr
