About the Role As a Senior DATA Specialist in our Internal Audit (IA) team, you'll play a key role in helping to expand our Data Analytics capability and capacity to enhance risk insight and assurance coverage. As a Senior DATA Specialist, you will: Lead delivery of priority initiatives supporting Internal Audit's AI and Data Strategy Develop AI/ML solutions that deliver business value and drive efficiency across the audit lifecycle Work closely with audit teams to identify opportunities and design technical solutions Support and uplift the team in developing their technical capability on AI and advanced analytics Employ statistical techniques to perform targeted business data interrogation Establish an AI and Data native culture in Internal Audit What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Strong experience delivering AI/ML solutions to solve business problems, ideally across both banking industry and consulting, as well as with internal audit, risk or similar experience Demonstrated experience in building AI agents for simplifying critical business tasks Strong understanding and delivery across the analytics lifecycle i.e. exploratory data analysis, data modelling and design, data wrangling, data quality, hypothesis testing, data visualisation and dashboard design Technically proficient with hands-on experience in tools such as Python, Qlik, KNIME and SQL Exposure to Cloud AI and ML products would be an added bonus Strong problem solving and quantitative analysis skills Good verbal and written communication skills, as well as good listening and interpreting skills Develops and maintains good relationships with stakeholders Constantly delivers on assigned goals and strives to better these goals despite obstacles, setbacks or uncertainty Qualifications in Data/Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Information Systems or other related So why join us?
