Country Tax Business Partner - Philippines

We are hiring a Country Tax Business Partner for TikTok (ByteDance) in Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines . This is a full-time, hybrid position .

Job Summary

The Country Tax Business Partner will ensure TikTok’s compliance with Philippine tax laws, support audits, provide tax advisory, and develop tax processes for cross-border and domestic activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in taxation and accounting, along with excellent stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Monitor transactions for timely BIR tax filings
  • Manage tax audits and prepare necessary documentation
  • Identify tax risks and suggest mitigation strategies
  • Advise on tax implications of transactions
  • Develop and refine tax compliance policies and procedures
  • Assess the impact of new tax regulations on the business
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve tax issues
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of tax and accounting experience in corporate and professional environments
  • CPA and CTT certifications
  • Deep knowledge of Philippine Tax Laws and BIR regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in the technology or digital industry is preferred
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Reliable with a strong sense of accountability and meeting deadlines
