Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in the air conditioning (HVAC) industry to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and evaluation of HVAC systems used in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

This role requires a strong understanding of thermodynamics, mechanical systems, and on-site coordination. You will work closely with project managers, technicians, and clients to ensure systems operate efficiently, meet client requirements, and comply with industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Design, install, maintain, and evaluate HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers, technicians, and clients on-site.
  • Read and interpret mechanical plans and blueprints; perform load calculations and ducting layout.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, HAP, or other mechanical design software.
  • Apply knowledge of refrigeration cycles and refrigerants (R-22, R-410A, etc.).
  • Perform field/site inspections and occasional overtime as needed.
  • Maintain physical fitness to work in varying site conditions; valid driver’s license preferred for site travel.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer (PRC) – preferred or required.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in HVAC design, installation, or maintenance.
  • Experience with air conditioning systems (e.g., split-type, VRF/VRV, central AC).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; good communication and teamwork.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and handle on-site work.
  • Knowledge of HVAC system design, load calculations, and ducting layout.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Physically fit for varied site conditions.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license (optional but preferred for site travel).
