As a Mechanical Engineer at Silver Horizon, you will play an essential role in the design, analysis, and implementation of mechanical systems within industrial manufacturing facilities. Working closely with structural engineers and cross-disciplinary teams, you will ensure efficient, safe, and integrated solutions that support the operation and expansion of client facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, material handling, and utility systems for manufacturing environments.
  • Perform equipment sizing, energy efficiency analysis, and system layout planning.
  • Conduct field inspections and condition assessments to verify performance and compliance with standards.
  • Collaborate with structural and electrical engineers to integrate mechanical systems with overall facility designs.
  • Utilize advanced CAD and simulation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit MEP, or ANSYS) for modeling and design.Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, equipment schedules, and installation guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with local mechanical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Support construction teams during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
  • Participate in project planning, cost estimation, and scheduling to meet client requirements and deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, ideally in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency in mechanical design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD MEP, SolidWorks, Revit, or Pipe-Flo).
  • Familiarity with ASHRAE, NFPA, and other relevant standards and codes.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on safety and efficiency.
