Good understanding of mainframe (z/OS, COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS) fundamentals, Knowledge of distributed systems (Unix/Linux, Windows, middleware), Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid integrations, Awareness of APIs, microservices, and cross-platform data flows. Understanding of modernization/migration projects. Proven experience managing large, multi-platform IT projects, Strong in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies, Risk, issue, and dependency management across multiple technologies, Budgeting, cost control, and vendor management and Coordination of onshore/offshore/global teams. Proficiency with project tracking tools (JIRA, MS Project, ServiceNow, Clarity), familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD pipelines across platforms (Jenkins, GitHub, Control-M, etc.) and Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, change, release, service continuity). Good-to-Have Requirement documentation, planning and defining project scope Resource planning, effort estimation, Work breakdown structure (WBS) Good skills on Microsoft Project Cost estimating, developing budget, risks analysis and appropriate project Documentation Ability to manage multiple projects and effective time management for self and resources Ability to effectively liaise with multiple stakeholders and client Clear understanding of project management methodologies PMP or Prince2.Certification on project management preferred Reporting on project from schedule, scope, cost, risk and issues Work closely with BAU team and the Service Delivery Manager on all projects and associated BAU activities Change preparation, getting approvals through CAB, effective communication to key stake holders and successful implementation of changes Maintain 99.8% success rate on Project changes. Work under the guidelines of the service Delivery manager on all aspects of the agreed project deliverables Flexible work ethics including working in non-business hours and weekends for project change implementation.
