Completing preventive maintenance on vehicles, such as performing oil changes, flushing and replacing fluids and replacing brakes. Repairing damage to the body of the vehicle and washing and painting the vehicle exteriors Generating timelines and maintenance for repairs Inspecting internal systems and controls to ensure the vehicle is operating properly Maintaining accurate records relating to vehicles’ parts and service history Performing regular maintenance and repairs as needed Performing other task as instructed Perform maintenance and repair on industrial machinery. Diagnose mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance. Read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints. Collaborate with engineers and production teams to enhance efficiency. Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Document repair and maintenance activities accurately. High school diploma or equivalent Vocational trainings or technical certification in heavy equipment repair Must have 3-6 years experience proven work experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components of heavy equipment and trucks. Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift).
