About the Role

The role involves ensuring proper implementation of KYC and AML processes and reporting.

  1. Ensure proper implementation of:
  • Customer Identification (KYC)
  • Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence
  • Alerts Monitoring and Reporting (CTR/STR)
Periodically review KYC records, conduct CDD/EDD, and ensure AML standards are met with records that are up-to-date and complete. Ensure prompt and appropriate disposition of alerts generated by the AML system, documenting actions taken. Monitor and review alerts to identify suspicious transactions. Prepare and ensure the accurate submission of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR) to Compliance. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of AML-related reports such as CTR, STR, etc. Review alert trends periodically to ensure they are generated according to defined parameters and identify areas for improvement. Conduct root cause analysis of concerns from reviews and recommend system enhancements to resolve alert issues.
