Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth research and financial analysis of markets, securities, industries, economies, and companies to identify investment opportunities.
- Prepare and present investment recommendations to portfolio managers, clients, or senior management.
- Provide detailed financial models and valuation reports on stocks, bonds, and other investment assets.
- Develop performance reports and present findings on various investments, sectors, and markets.
- Assist in crafting product research (business model reviews, user journeys, etc.) and research related business opportunities in tech space.
- Identify and map business strengths and customer needs; monitor market trends and industry developments locally and internationally.
- Log, check for completeness, and ensure compliance of investment documentation; input fund transactions into transfer agency systems; perform peer-to-peer quality control.
- Support investment policy development, including IPS-related activities, governance compliance, and risk controls where applicable.
- Coordinate with legal/compliance/investment teams on policy reviews and approvals; maintain documentation for audits and regulatory inquiries.
- Engage in team-related tasks and ensure high service standards and effective collaboration across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
- Typically 1–5 years of relevant experience in investment/financial analysis or related fields.
- Strong understanding of mutual funds, capital gains, fund compensation, and investment account operations; familiarity with tax rules and trade types is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of R is a plus for some roles.
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills; ability to present complex data clearly.
- Night shift or onsite work availability as required by the posting; willingness to relocate as needed.
