Role / Responsibilities Collaborate with software engineers in database application design, data modeling and SQL creation for DDL / DML Collaborate with software engineers and DevOps in automating the deployment and managing rollbacks of DDL / DML Production database monitoring, performance tuning and data-related troubleshooting Ensure accurate database indexing, archiving, reporting and automation. Build and support ETL processes. Requirements 5+ years experience in a database administration / data engineering role 3+ years experience managing large scale MySQL databases in AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Experience in delivering DDL / DML changes in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools Terraform and Liquibase. Expert trouble shooter at MySQL related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space, and issues with resource contention, deadlocking, replication, security and connectivity. Expert knowledge of Linux systems and Bash scripting Participate in projects than span multiple teams from requirements to production in a fast-paced environment.
