Client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Project Manager to lead and execute critical security projects within our dynamic organization. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of security initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring they align with our strategic objectives and adhere to established timelines and budgets. You will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to implement robust security solutions that protect our assets from evolving threats.

• Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables for security initiatives.
• Developing detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budget management for security projects.
• Identifying, tracking, and mitigating risks and issues specific to security projects.
• Collaborating with cross-functional engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into project plans and executed effectively.
• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on project status, progress, and challenges.
• Driving the implementation of security best practices, standards, and frameworks within project lifecycles.
• Ensuring project deliverables contribute to compliance with relevant security regulations and industry standards.
• Facilitating security design and architecture reviews within projects to ensure considerations are incorporated early and effectively.
• Leading and motivating project teams to achieve successful security project outcomes.
• Managing vendor relationships and external resources as they pertain to security projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of at least 4 years specifically managing IT or security-related projects.
• Strong understanding of security concepts, technologies, and best practices (e.g., risk management, incident response, vulnerability management, secure SDLC).
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, technical security projects from initiation to closure.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR) is highly desirable.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, CSM, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering secure and effective solutions.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
