Software Engineer, Associate - Java, React

Overview

The Early Talent full-stack Associate Software Engineer ensures we continuously provide quality code that covers the needs of the customer. The role also ensures that proper safeguards are created so issues do not reoccur, which can be covered by unit tests.

Responsibilities
  • Translates design into code following company standards for product quality and maintainability
  • Performs maintenance fixes on existing products
  • Obtains peer review of the code
  • Provides analysis of current program functionality
  • Performs code improvements to eliminate program issues and inefficiencies while maintaining application functionality
  • Recommends design alternatives to enhance the performance and functionality of application software
  • Performs unit tests and works with Business Analysts/QA analysts to help perform regression tests and system tests
  • Works with Business Analysts to help document the final implementation of the design
What You Will Need
  • Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent
  • Good English communication skills
  • Full-stack inclination
  • Java as main language of choice for backend
  • React as main language of choice for frontend
  • Knowledge in: Java, ReactJS, Web Development, Software Development Life Cycle
Preferred Qualifications
  • ERP business processes
  • Agile Development Methodology (Scrum and Kanban)
  • Experience in Eclipse IDE
  • Spring Framework
  • SQL/PostgreSQL
