Contract Details Type : Temporary (2–3 months, with possibility of extension) Schedule : Works during EST / PST business hours Location : Remote Company Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Migration and Reporting Specialist to support our transition from Google Drive to Microsoft OneDrive. This is a temporary role (2–3 months) with the potential to extend based on performance and project needs. The ideal candidate has strong experience managing data migration projects, rebuilding and optimizing reports, and creating insightful dashboards using Power BI. This role requires both technical accuracy and creative problem-solving to improve data accessibility and reporting efficiency across platforms. Role Description The Data Migration and Reporting Specialist will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and accurate transfer of files and reports from Google Drive to OneDrive. Many existing reports contain interconnected formulas and references that must remain functional after migration. You will also help recreate or improve complex reports and assist in developing Power BI dashboards for better visualization and analysis. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and proven experience in working with large datasets and reporting tools. Key Responsibilities Oversee and execute the migration of data, reports, and files from Google Drive to Microsoft OneDrive with minimal disruption. Identify and resolve formula dependencies, broken links, and data connection issues during migration. Rebuild or enhance reports that are impacted by the migration process — improving structure, accuracy, and usability. Develop or refine Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring data integrity and visual clarity. Collaborate with team members to understand reporting needs and propose improvements for efficiency and performance. Conduct quality checks and testing post-migration to ensure reports and links are fully functional. Maintain organized documentation of migrated files and updated reporting processes. Qualifications Proven experience in data migration between platforms (Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 preferred). Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets , including advanced formulas, macros, and linked datasets. Experience creating or managing Power BI dashboards and reports . Familiarity with OneDrive and SharePoint file structures. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Creative mindset for optimizing and improving existing reports. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with cross-referenced or formula-linked reports across multiple files. Background in data visualization, business analytics, or reporting automation. Ability to manage short-term projects with evolving priorities.
