SAP Academy for Services & Consulting (APAC) – Project Manager Associate – Philippines. SAP Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines. The Academy aligns with the SAP Customer Services & Delivery team to support customers in their digital transformation and to sustain the adoption of SAP software. The 12-15 month graduate program includes classroom learning with rotation opportunities within the business, building the foundations needed for success in Customer Services & Delivery. Rotations provide experience in consulting, project management, technical and solution support.

• The Role of Project Manager – The Project Manager is responsible for supporting customers’ transformation strategy through the management of cloud or hybrid implementation initiatives with SAP Activate methodology. The Project Manager has the qualifications and business acumen to manage large-scale, high-risk, strategic projects that span organizational boundaries including multiple business units and service partners/vendors.
• The Project Manager will provide leadership to cross-functional teams responsible for delivering defined project outputs on time, on budget and with highest quality. Project Managers assist SAP Sales during the Bid Phase by providing input into the proposal, especially regarding the solution delivery model, project structure, scoping, estimation and risk assessment. Project Managers have the ability to manage complex projects or programs that require coordination of work between various parties such as third-party sub-contractors, SAP Development, and Global Support organizations.
• As a Project Manager Associate , you will support the project manager on large-scale, high-risk, strategic projects, and/or lead operational projects or small engagements.
• During Academy – Learn and understand the Customer Services & Delivery portfolio for the respective solution areas and deliver according to service specifications. Conduct rotations with various teams within the business, complete case studies, classroom and self-paced learnings, and on-the-job training.
• As a Project Team Lead on a large strategic project – Conduct project planning activities and support execution of large-scale, high-risk, strategic projects according to the project plan; assist PMO as needed; manage sub-project groups to supervise/represent a team within a large project program; ensure budgets, schedule, quality and business value; ensure proper use of methodology, tools and procedures; coordinate project resource management.
• As a Project Manager for a small strategic/operational project – Manage the project lifecycle, define, plan, track and manage the project in accordance with the methodology; determine required resources; collaborate with the sponsor to meet project objectives; participate in project initiation/planning and manage execution; manage internal/external communications with stakeholders; lead the project team; identify risks/issues and mitigate options; communicate/escalate issues early; balance the triple constraint; demonstrate proficiency in SAP delivery methodology – Activate, Agile, Best Practices and Integrated Tool management; work with partners, customers and internal SAP teams to enforce Rise with SAP methodology and associated tools; drive clean core on BTP, adoption and business transformation at scale; maintain internal project financial and non-financial systems; adhere to procurement, HR policies and to commercial processes such as change requests and invoicing.

• Master’s degree, or equivalent tertiary study
• 0-3 years' work experience with customer facing roles
• Team player with ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
• Good listener with excellent communication skills, empathetic, collaborative
• Resourceful self-starters with strong interpersonal skills who are eager learners
• Interested in technology, innovation, and how digital platforms can solve business challenges
