Senior Accountant
Work Arrangement: Full on-site
Schedule: Day Shift (5:00 AM to 2:00 PM to overlap with US side work hours)
Location: Tuguegarao
Employment Type: Full time

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Tuguegarao. The ideal candidate will handle a broad spectrum of accounting tasks, contribute to financial reporting, and ensure compliance with GAAP. This role involves multitasking across several clients and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general accounting functions
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
  • Analyze financial data
  • Prepare and review weekly and month-end accounting reports
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports according to schedule
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  • Provide input into the department’s goal-setting process
  • Complete special projects as necessary
  • Multitask and work on several clients each day
Qualifications
  • Four-year college degree or higher in Accounting
  • Open to CPA and Non-CPA candidates
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a related position
  • Experience in public accounting and/or restaurant and retail industries is preferred
  • Solid financial statement skills and a clear understanding of GAAP
  • Strong Excel and ERP skills
  • Willing to adapt to a non-traditional work shift (5:00 AM to 2:00 PM)
  • Highly independent but also a team player
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English, both verbal and written
  • Willing to work on-site in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan
