We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Staff to for our financial operations, particularly supporting activities across our construction, real estate and trading business units. This role involves managing daily accounting functions, overseeing financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations: Process day-to-day accounting processes including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close.
Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the standard compliance
Compliance: Ensure adherence to local tax laws, VAT regulations, accounting standards, and corporate policies.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial planning models.
Financial Analysis: Provide insight into business performance through variance analysis, cost tracking, and trend identification.
Internal Controls & Audits: Implement and monitor strong internal controls; coordinate with auditors and support audit processes.
Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve accounting systems, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Strategic Partnership: Work closely with operations, procurement, and executive leadership to support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
at least 2 years of accounting experience with direct exposure to construction/trade/real estate business
Hands-on experience with general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, and month/year-end closing
Proficiency in accounting software
Advanced knowledge of VAT
Strong MS Excel skills
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and tax reporting
Familiarity with inventory accounting, asset management, and cost control
Proven leadership or supervisory experience
Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to collaborate with both financial and non-financial stakeholders (e.g., traders, engineers, contractors, suppliers)
