AVP Controllership Regulatory Reporting

Responsibilities:

Lead the preparation and submission of key regulatory reports (e.g., Basel III, Liquidity, Capital Adequacy, and other local regulatory filings).
Ensure reports comply with all relevant accounting principles (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP) and regulatory guidelines.
Coordinate and communicate with regulatory bodies and internal audit teams for reviews, queries, or inspections.
Analyze financial data and trends to support regulatory submissions and explain variances.
Support ongoing improvements in the regulatory reporting process through automation, control enhancements, and process documentation.

Required Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Minimum 3 years accounting experience in Banking or Financial Services industry, or in lieu of a degree minimum 7 years of experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry.
Proficient use of financial systems (HFM, Hyperion databases & Oracle Financials Data Warehouse (OFDW)) and Microsoft Office (Excel), AIXOM

Additional Notes:

This position will be working with American consumer financial services company.

Working Set-up: Hybrid
Mondays to Fridays.
