What you'll be working on:
Prepare accurate material and labour takeoffs from construction drawings, mainly timber frames, cladding, and fixouts.
Develop and submit estimates using internal templates.
Assist with BOQs, RFQs, RFIs, and tender documentation.
Liaise with suppliers for updated pricing and collaborate to refine pricing strategies.
Maintain version control and estimate logs.
Confidently use Ground Plan and Ascora to deliver takeoffs on time.
Participate in video meetings (Zoom) during work hours (Mon–Fri, 9 am–3 pm AEST) to support team collaboration.
What were looking for :
Minimum 3 years of experience in residential or commercial carpentry estimating, preferably on Australian projects.
Fresh graduates with relevant education in construction, engineering, or quantity surveying are also welcome.
Strong understanding of building plans and construction methods.
Proficiency in estimating software, including Ground Plan and Ascora.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
