What Is the Beginner Developer Residency?

This residency is a scholarship-based, full-time, 2-year program designed for individuals who want to start a career in software development but have not yet gained professional experience.

The program blends:
intensive training,
structured mentorship, and
hands-on work on actual software features and internal tools.

You will not be shadowing — you will be building. The goal is to accelerate your learning curve and prepare you to contribute confidently to production-level systems.

Key Responsibilities

Learn and apply core concepts in JavaScript, React, and Node.js
Join daily training sessions and technical deep dives
Write, test, and debug code for internal and production projects
Participate in code reviews, group learning sessions, and technical assessments
Work closely with mentors to track and improve your performance

Qualifications
Required:

Basic knowledge of programming (any language)
Strong interest in web development
Good command of written and spoken English
Ability to focus, follow instructions, and meet deadlines
Reliable internet connection and a backup plan
Availability to work 8 PM – 6 AM PH time

Preferred:

Self-taught coding practice, mini projects, or online course experience
GitHub repository or sample code
Familiarity with Git, APIs, or basic database concepts

Compensation and Benefits:

Monthly stipend of Php 32,000 – Php 35,000
