The Kitchen Helper will support the chefs in preparing hot and cold dishes, following recipes, and ensuring high-quality food standards. The role includes handling mise en place, cooking basic menu items, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation. Experience in hotel kitchens and exposure to international cuisines is a strong advantage.





Responsibilities
Prepare and cook basic menu items under the supervision of the Chef
Assist in preparing hot, cold, dessert, or soup stations depending on assignment
Perform mise en place including chopping, slicing, marinating, portioning, and measuring ingredients
Follow recipes accurately and ensure consistency of taste and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations
Support the team during service, ensuring timely and accurate food production
Practice food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
Assist in receiving and storing deliveries following FIFO and proper labeling
Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Perform other kitchen-related tasks as required




Job Requirements
With experience in hotel kitchens, restaurants, or catering
Experience in handling international cuisines (Asian, Western, Mediterranean, etc.) is a strong advantage
Knowledge in basic cooking techniques (sauteing, grilling, frying, baking, plating)
Familiar with hot and cold kitchen operations
