About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our accounts payable function. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid accounting background, and the ability to manage high-volume transactions while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
● Supervise the accounts payable team and oversee daily operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
● Review, verify, and reconcile vendor invoices and payment requests in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
● Manage payment schedules, monitor aging reports, and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders.
● Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within the accounts payable function.
● Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and company policies.
● Collaborate with the Finance Manager and Accounting team on month-end and year-end closing activities.
● Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to accounts payable staff to enhance their skills and performance.
● Prepare and present regular reports on accounts payable metrics, outstanding liabilities, and process improvements to management.
● Coordinate with procurement and other departments to ensure smooth and accurate financial processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
● CPA passer required
● 3–5 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
● Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
● Strong leadership and people management skills
● Ability to manage high-volume transactions with accuracy and timeliness
● Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills for vendor and stakeholder management
● Willing to work on-site in Taguig (near Arca South)
