About the Role
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Freelance Sales Representative to support the growth of our general merchandise and trading business. The ideal candidate is someone who can bring in new clients, and ensure sales targets are consistently achieved.
This role is ideal for independent professionals who thrive in a fast-moving commercial environment and can execute both sales and marketing functions hands-on.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Acquisition
• Identify, pursue, and secure new B2B clients across relevant industries.
• Conduct outbound prospecting, product presentations, and negotiations to close deals.
• Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to contract execution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and repeat clients.
• Deliver consistent pipeline growth and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Account & Market Development
• Develop customized proposals and pricing packages for prospective clients.
• Maintain account retention through regular follow-ups, upselling, and cross-selling.
• Conduct market research to identify new trading opportunities and emerging demand.
• Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to ensure product readiness and fulfillment.
Marketing & Promotion
• Support the creation of marketing collateral (catalogs, product sheets, social content).
• Execute basic digital marketing activities to increase brand visibility.
• Contribute ideas for seasonal campaigns, new product launches, and client engagement activities.
• Track marketing effectiveness and propose improvements based on data and customer feedback.

Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years experience in sales, business development, or account management—preferably in trading, wholesale, distribution, retail supply, or general merchandise.
• Proven track record of bringing in new clients and achieving revenue targets.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage client relationships end-to-end.
• Comfortable with CRM or pipeline tracking tools.
• Marketing experience (content creation, social media, promotions) is an advantage.
• Self-driven, resourceful, and able to thrive with minimal supervision.
