Accounting Officer

Job description· Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Business or Commerce, or any related course· With certification such as Certified Public Accountant, Certified Accounting Technician, or Certified Bookkeeper· With at least 1-2 years of experience in accounting-related work· Has experience in a food manufacturing company and fast-food chain operations· Familiar with existing laws and regulations of different regulatory bodies such as but not limited to Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and Security and Exchange Commission (SEC)· Knowledgeable with Microsoft applications (especially in Excel Spreadsheets)· Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing work requirements and meet hard deadlines· With strong organizational skills· Keen to details and good in record keepingThe Accounting Officer is in charge of managing all aspects of general accounting including accounts payable and receivable, as well as guaranteeing accurate input of financial data, maintaining and controlling the general ledger accounts through a thorough analysis of financial records.1. Preparation and analysis of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements2. Consolidation of various financial information and projections (e.g., sales, costs, expenses)3. Review and processing of transactions and reconciliations4. In charge of the recording of revenue, processing of cash receipts, and ensuring that the balance between revenues and receivables is maintained at all times5. Perform the processing and recording of accounts payable transactions and ensure that all invoices and reimbursements are paid accurately and in accordance with the company policies and procedures6. Process the monthly accruals, amortizations of expenses, depreciation of fixed assets, and recording of adjustment and reclassification journal entries, if necessary7. Any additional assigned duties and tasks by the management that can be beneficial for the company.
