We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Specialist to join our Production team in a fast-paced creative agency environment. This role will focus on ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance of final packaging artworks. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with designers, production artists, and project managers to uphold design integrity from concept to final file delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the production team in executing high-quality packaging artworks.
• Perform detailed checks to ensure that final artworks adhere to design intent, brand guidelines, and client specifications.
• Apply and verify Pantone colors, ink swatches, and technical specifications on packaging files.
• Cross-check final artworks with printer-supplied die lines and ensure correct layout alignment.
• Confirm that artworks meet all regulatory specifications and are compliant with local market requirements.
• Flag and resolve any inconsistencies or errors in artwork files.
• Maintain clear documentation of revisions, approvals, and version history.
• Organize and prepare artwork files according to established server structures and archiving standards.
• Ensure each project passes thorough quality checks before release and delivery.
• Collaborate with project managers and production artists to maintain workflow efficiency and hit deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in final artwork creation, preferably for food or FMCG packaging.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
• Solid understanding of printing processes, color management, and file preparation.
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines for packaging artwork (especially for the AUS market).
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and technical accuracy.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Skills
• Previous experience in a creative or production agency environment is a plus.
• Exposure to prepress or print production processes.
• Basic knowledge of file management systems and artwork archiving practices.
