Job Summary

As an Audit Specialist, you will conduct thorough and independent audits to evaluate the effectiveness of our controls, financial records, and operations. You will identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance our processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits of staff and material assets, including equipment and buildings, to determine their utilization and identify areas for improvement.
  • Audit Head Office and Branch Office activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of transaction recording and compliance with management plans and policies.
  • Conduct inventories and spot cash counts during audit engagements.
  • Audit specified disbursements and expenses to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Review and monitor compliance to and effectiveness of risk management programs.
  • Post audit transactions on loans, membership, and accounting services, fund management, collection, personnel, and administration.
  • Review recorded transactions in journal entries and general ledgers and its subsidiaries.
  • Validate accuracy of asset inventory records of business units being audited.
  • Prepare audit reports disclosing findings and recommendations.
  • Determine scope of audit samples to be used.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in auditing and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
