IT Auditor

Position Overview: The IT Auditor is responsible for conducting examination and analysis of internal controls and business risks through identifying potential vulnerabilities, risks, and weaknesses in IT systems, its design and implementation, as well as its ongoing operations and maintenance. As a result, this role ensures that an organization has the needed IT resources and protocols to carry out its operations efficiently

Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluates the effectiveness of information-processing controls across industries and business process cycles.

• Demonstrates knowledge of IT and its operations, specifically executing audits involving network platforms.

• Presents key findings and outcomes of business and IT risk assessments.

• Identifies areas of business initiatives and changes in the business environment, assessing their impact on the business control environment.

• Establishes and maintaining positive relationships with clients.

• Supports in the planning and coordination of engagements and its continuous oversight until completion for the accounts assigned.

• Provides technical guidance and other needed support to less experienced team members and equivalent counterparts.

• Performs controls assessment/ evaluation of relevant General IT Controls and IT Application Controls (i.e., Test of Design and Implementation, and Operating Effectiveness).

Qualifications:

At least a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or Computer Science; professional certification (CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP) is a plus

3+ years' experience in IT Audit and/or IT Risk Management (Logistics industry preferred)

Relevant experience performing IT risk assessments and controls development/ enhancement projects

Solid understanding of enterprise technology architecture, including risks and dependencies between each layer

Working knowledge of IT controls frameworks a plus (SOC2, ISO27001, ISO27701, PCI, etc)

Able to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently with minimal to no supervision

Adept in problem solving and data analysis

Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills
