About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Engineer to join our team in Sydney. As a Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, deploying solutions to customers in the SMB market, and maintaining best practice environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end project delivery to deploy solutions to customers in the SMB market
  • Working with highly experienced solutions experts to maintain best practice environments
  • Supporting a combination of servers, desktops, and applications within Microsoft Azure, on-premises, and M365 environments
  • Delivering the support of Azure, Hyper-V, VMWare, and Citrix infrastructure
  • Maintaining our expanding Cybersecurity program
  • Troubleshooting, configuration, database administration, and repair for server, network, infrastructure, Data Centre, email, file shares, and other infrastructure issues
  • Providing remote service desk support to a variety of environments from users, as a point of escalation and SME
  • Assisting the helpdesk manager with any technical requests and escalations
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or any related field
  • Previous role with an IT&T System Integrator, Managed Service Provider, or similar organization
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a level 3 as an MSP/Technical Engineer in a global environment
  • Skills/Tools/Technologies needed: experience in end-user support, Windows Server, Azure, and O365
  • Experience with cybersecurity products/principles and penetration testing are highly preferred
