Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines Skala Architectural And Interior Design Services Full time

We are in search of an Accounting Officer to join our team. Responsible for recording of financial transactions, assisting in compliance of government regulations, and contributing to the financial health of the company.

Responsibilities

● Perform general bookkeeping like updating manual books and tax compliance

● Process and record invoices and daily transactions and expenses.

● Prepare and release check to suppliers and all stakeholders and ensure swift payment of invoices.

● Ensure update of check register monitoring and general ledger

● Monitor, review and report Petty Cash Fund Replenishment, Reimbursements and Liquidation expenditures on project advances and payment requests

● Prepare check disbursement summary/collection summary.

● Record and monitor Client-deposit checks and internal checks and vouchers for Cash Advances.

● Creation and Monitoring of Billing.

● Financial Statement/Reports: Accurately Record all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments. Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements on a regular basis or as required.

● Assist in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support decision-making and business planning.

● Perform administrative duties such as process flows, filing, transcription, maintenance and production of forms, processing business permits and other permits needed.

● Accounts Payable: Checking and Review of Accounts Payable and other requests for payment based on Purchase Order, receipts, and other supporting documents

● Accounts Receivable: Collecting and recording payments that come into the organization.

● Bank transactions: Regularly reconcile bank statements against recorded and ensure they are recorded correctly.

● Payroll: Review and request for disbursements on salaries and deductions, prepare month end payroll reports, prepare annual payroll reporting

● Reporting on payroll and related internal related disbursement such as weekly, bi-monthly and last pay and other compensation and related payments.

● Perform administrative duties such as process flows, filing, transcription, maintenance and production of forms, processing business permits and other permits needed.

● Supporting the Management and Cost Engineer with projects and tasks when required.

● Being a key point of contact for other departments on accounting and financial matters.

● Make sure that the company's accounting policies and procedures are strictly followed.

● Monitoring of Recurring Expenses Maintaining and monitoring the safekeeping of all Accounting Records.

● Ensures the accuracy and deadlines for all accounting reports such as: Bank Reconciliation, Cash Flow, Summary of Expenses, and Journal Entries

● Other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

● Educational Background

Must be a graduate of Management Accounting or Accounting related course.

● Experience

At least 5 years experience as an Accounting Officer or similar role.

● Skills

Confidentiality, Integrity and Good Work Ethics

Time Management and Organizing

Attention to Detail

Strong technical accounting knowledge and ability to solve complex accounting issues

Must be proficient in MS Applications specifically Excel.
