Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative for our Air Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing air freight bookings, generating sales leads, and ensuring timely and efficient service delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle customer inquiries and provide information about air freight services, transit times, and shipping options.Process air freight bookings and ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulations.Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure timely and efficient cargo handling.Track and monitor shipments, providing customers with updates on the status and resolving any issues that arise.Assist in the preparation of quotations and pricing for air freight services.Maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions, bookings, and shipments.Address customer complaints and work towards timely resolution, ensuring customer satisfaction.Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to air freight services.Support the Air Department team with various administrative tasks as needed.Proactively identify and generate sales leads through customer interactions and market research.Able to do marketing and convert leads into profitable business opportunities.Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.Contribute to achieving department sales targets and profitability goals.Qualifications:A degree in business, logistics, or a related field is a plus.Previous experience in customer service, preferably within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.Knowledge of air freight operations and regulations is highly desirable.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Customer-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.No quota & subject to 15% commission.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A supportive and collaborative work environment.The chance to be part of a leading logistics company with a global network.
