Job Title: Data Transfer Specialist

FIS is a leading provider of financial services and technology solutions. We're seeking a highly skilled Data Transfer Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

As a Data Transfer Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transfer of data between systems, maintaining system integrity, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confirm data transfer requirements by reviewing ticket/project objectives, input data, and output requirements with analysts, supervisors, clients, or vendors.
  • Arrange data transfer requirements in analyzing requirements; prepare a process and complete documentation adhering to standards.
  • Accomplish testing of data transfer configurations as required by ticket/project requirements.
  • Confirm implementation of production interfaces as required by ticket/project.
  • Maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Ensure operation of systems by following instructions; troubleshoot malfunctions; make changes to process/documentation as needed for on-call support.
  • Contribute to national team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements:
  • Must have skills/tools/experience in file/data transmission and server administration.
  • Nice to have skills/tools/experience in MoveIt automation and transfer administration.
  • Must be willing to work mostly on night shifts (10:00pm to 7:00am with weekday off).
  • Must be willing to work on hybrid setup (Twice a week onsite).
  • College undergraduates and non-bachelor's degree holders with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
  • Problem-solving and programming skills are beneficial.
  • Attention to detail, design, and following standards to facilitate large system operation.
  • Experience with high volume batch transmission systems is beneficial.
  • Good knowledge in server-to-server connectivity.
  • Knowledge in operating systems.
  • Knowledge in schedulers.
  • Knowledge in server-to-server communication.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Knowledge in data transfers/migration.
  • Knowledge in scripting.
  • Good understanding of IP networking.
  • Knowledge in SFTP.
