Job Title: 2nd Engineer : Supereco (Bulk)

Magsaysay Maritime Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced 2nd Engineer to join our team on a Handysize Bulk Carrier vessel. As a 2nd Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Chief Engineer in the operation and maintenance of the vessel's engines, boilers, and other machinery
  • Monitor and control the vessel's speed, fuel consumption, and other performance metrics
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the vessel's systems are functioning properly
  • Collaborate with the bridge team to ensure safe navigation and compliance with maritime regulations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a 2nd Engineer on a Handysize Bulk Carrier vessel
  • Valid travel documents and licenses
  • Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and safety procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
