Hiring Company: FDC Utilities, Inc.

  1. Determine forecast fuel requirements of the power plant/s and prepares annual coal delivery schedule.
  2. Prepare annual fuel procurement plan including delivery schedule.
  3. Ensure adequate timely supply of fuel. Accepts and facilities fuel ordering and coordinates schedule of fuel deliveries with fuel suppliers.
  4. Study and monitor fuel prices prevailing in the local and international markets and recommend Central Procurement to initiate pricing negotiation with suppliers to keep the prices current and responsive to changing market conditions that affect its sources and costs.
  5. Establish and develop interactive feedback mechanism with end users and other concerned units of the corporation for management's information and policy consideration.
  6. Responsible in the review, evaluation and processing of payment of all fuel related claims including demurrage/dispatch claims.
  7. Submit annual budget proposals for fuel.
  8. Endorse Letter Credit (LC) or Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) payment of fuel including required documents for importation and coordination with the officers, banks, forwarders, brokers and government agencies
  9. Ensure that Company ethical standards comply with while in the process of clearing cargoes.
  10. Prepare an annual budget of the unit.
  11. Perform other functions as may be assigned. Job Specifications:
  12. Must be a college degree holder of any engineering or business related course
  13. With 3 yrs related experience gained from CFB power plant
  14. Must be highly trustworthy, with sense of strong discipline and integrity
  15. With proven leadership and management skills
  16. Must have sufficient understanding and awareness of Environment, Health and Safety rules and regulations
  17. Must be adept in Supply Management and Inventory Control
  18. Must be keen to details
  19. Must have a strong understanding of all areas in the power industry
