Credit and Collection Manager

Monroe Consulting Group is in search of a Credit and Collections Manager for a top Food FMCG company located in Navotas, Manila. This role directly reports to the VP for Finance/Chief Financial Officer. The Credit and Collections Manager leads a team of credit and collections staff to ensure accurate credit assessments, timely payments collection, and maintain financial health. This position offers guidance, establishes credit policies, monitors credit limits, and implements cash flow optimization strategies while fostering positive customer relationships. The job is onsite, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide a team of credit and collections staff by setting performance targets and conducting evaluations.
- Promote a collaborative, customer-focused team environment through effective communication.
- Develop and enforce credit policies, assess creditworthiness, and set credit limits and terms.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve credit issues.
- Implement strategies for timely payments and analyze aging reports.
- Communicate with customers to resolve payment issues and negotiate plans.
- Coordinate with collection agencies and legal teams, maintaining positive relationships.
- Liaise with customers to understand needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Identify risk mitigation opportunities and support business growth.
- Prepare reports on credit assessments and collections performance.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Streamline credit and collections processes to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with teams to implement process changes and monitor effectiveness.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for credit and collections activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of credit and collections management experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Strong analytical skills.
