Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management:
    • Supervise the receipt, inspection, and storage of fabric, accessories, and trims.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records using our warehouse management system.
    • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Team Supervision:
    • Lead and manage warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training.
    • Ensure that the team follows safety protocols and maintains a clean, organized work environment.
    • Address any personnel issues and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Quality Control:
    • Inspect incoming shipments for quality and quantity, ensuring all materials meet required standards.
    • Oversee the handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or loss.
    • Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
  • Logistics Coordination:
    • Plan and oversee the efficient layout and storage of materials in the warehouse.
    • Schedule and monitor the dispatch of materials to the production floor and external suppliers.
    • Collaborate with the procurement and production teams to forecast and plan for material requirements.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations, particularly in health and safety.
    • Prepare and present reports on inventory levels, warehouse performance, and other key metrics.
    • Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision, preferably in the garments or textile industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Proficiency in warehouse management systems and inventory software.
    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
    • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehouse operations.
