Responsibilities:

Ensures that all the legal activities are executed for the welfare of the Company.

  1. Draft and review contracts and agreements for all departments.
  2. Provide advisory and opinions with respect to legal and risks issues of the company and its subsidiaries.
  3. Support and assist the Human Resources Department in administrative hearings, Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) negotiation and other employee relation matters including reviewing of Notice of Decision for Dismissal.
  4. Prepare affidavits, motions, pleadings, and evidence for internal cases.
  5. Handle cases in judicial bodies and other tribunals.
  6. Monitor and work closely on the cases.
  7. Notarize documents signed by company representatives.
  8. Drafting legal letters to outside entities.
  9. Keep abreast of any changes or updates in relevant laws, regulations and guidelines that might affect the company ensuring compliance and information to these new legal requirements.
  10. Conduct training regarding legal matters to other Departments.
  11. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications:
  12. Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Law.
  13. Admitted to the Bar
  14. At least 5 years of experience practicing law.
  15. Must have a good track record in litigation.
  16. Knowledge and experience in handling and managing CBA negotiations, union-related issues, labor cases, damage claims, collection, and property cases.
  17. Adept in legal counseling.
  18. Diligent with great attention to detail.
  19. Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and planning skills to proactively manage project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans.
  20. Strong management skills, interpersonal skills, and decision making skills.
  21. With strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  22. Strong leadership, management and influential skills.
  23. Willing to travel for work.
