We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. As a Staff Accountant with 1-3 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, your primary responsibilities will include posting bank transactions, reviewing invoice coding, and handling prepaid and fixed asset journal entries and reconciliations, among other key accounting tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to grow their career in accounting within a dynamic organization.Responsibilities:● Post and reconcile daily bank transactions, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial data. Additionally, prepare and record GL entries to properly reflect bank transactions.● Prepare and enter journal entries as needed to support the month-end close process, including prepaid and fixed asset journal entries.● Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial transactions and resolve discrepancies.● Assist in the preparation of financial reports and schedules as required, providing insights into financial performance.● Monitor and track expenses, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company expense policies.● Collaborate cross-functionally to review and align on action for failed customer payments.● Prepare daily cash flow reporting to support financial decision-making.● Assist in responding to external audit requests and prepare documentation for year end audits.● Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.● Work on ad-hoc accounting and finance projects as assigned.Qualifications:● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.● 1-3 years of experience in accounting or related roles.● Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.● Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.● Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.● Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges and responsibilities.As a Staff Accountant, you will contribute to the accurate and efficient management of our financial data, playing a key role in supporting our organization's financial health while reporting to the Accounting Manager.
