POSITION SUMMARY:

Join our dynamic shared services team at Dover, where you'll play a key role in Lease Accounting operations. Your main tasks will involve handling lease data entry, generating essential reports, and supporting Dover stakeholders worldwide for Accounts Payable (AP) and General Ledger (GL) Accounting. This position is based in Cebu, Philippines.


Essential Responsibilities:
  • Extract and analyze data from leases to ensure accurate accounting under new Lease Accounting Standards ASC 842 and IFRS 16.
  • Record lease data into LeaseAccelerator with precision.
  • Understand the impact of LeaseAccelerator data on AP and GL processes.
  • Create and distribute operational LeaseAccelerator reports.
  • Maintain lease process documentation and accounting policies.
  • Manage LeaseAccelerator software and lease data.
  • Handle Lease requests through the ServiceNow ticketing system.
  • Assist in ad hoc lease requests and special projects.
  • Support the enhancement of lease accounting processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; CPA not required but preferred.

Minimum 2 years of General Ledger Accounting experience with exposure to FASB-GAAP/IFRS, fixed asset accounting, and proficiency in US GAAP and IFRS. Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and advanced MS Excel skills are required. Strong analytical and communication abilities are a must.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with ASC 842 and IFRS 16 lease accounting guidance.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-directed, positive, and ethical with the ability to work independently.
  • Display initiative and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Adherence to Dover's Code of Ethical Conduct and Quality System Standards.
