Job Responsibilities
  • Lead Insurance Partnerships
    • Prospect and manage business and insurance partners to discover value and provide great service quality.
    • Develop strategic insurance partnerships to scale customer acquisition and Igloo's brand equity.
    • Maintain good relationships with insurance partners in the local market.
  • Develop Insurance Product Growth Strategies
    • Identify and close deals focused on on-demand industries such as e-commerce, telco, travel, and hospitality, as well as healthcare.
    • Convert market requirements into opportunities for Igloo.
    • Present local country perspectives to guide commercial, product, and insurance strategies.
  • Drive and Own Insurance Deliverables

Job Requirements
  • Minimum Degree in Business / Finance or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in insurance placement, underwriting, or brokerage
  • Comprehensive knowledge of General Insurance products, industry trends, and regulations
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters, clients, insurers, and other stakeholders
  • Proven track record in building successful partnerships and managing significant business in the insurance space
  • Prior experience working in a high-growth environment, ideally with a mix of experience in MNCs and start-ups
  • Analytical and strategic thinking on product and business development
