Job Summary

The Data Privacy Specialist will be responsible for compliance with the company's Policies and Procedures and updating its documentation. They will also be accountable for monitoring of mechanism for new and current data privacy operational practices and for supporting in the maintenance and keeping record of data privacy requirements for third parties (e.g. clients, vendors, processors, and affiliates).

Responsibilities

Performing actual research, organize and analyze information, cross check and validate informationAssisting in the monitoring with the following:Written reports;Correspondences;Document validation;DPO asset register; andCheck data privacy forms and documents for accuracyMonitoring of mechanism for new and current data privacy operational practicesSupporting the DPO in maintaining reference file, review and monitor new and updated regulationsSupport in calendaring DPO activities on a monthly, quarterly and annual basisSupport in the maintenance and keeping record of data privacy requirements for third parties (e.g. clients, vendors, processors, and affiliates)Support the Data Privacy Office in maintaining reference file, review and monitor new and updated regulationsAct as the message transfer agent for all transaction request between DPO and company legalAct as the primary message transfer agent for the departmentSupport the Data Privacy Office in its day-to-day information life cycle operationsSupport the Data Privacy Office in monitoring the organizational data breach management program. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Legal Management or, preferably, Juris Doctor (Doctor of Law or Doctor of Jurisprudence)With at least a year of experience in legalKnowledgeable in legal data privacy practicesHMO or Insurance experience is preferred, but not requiredPC LiterateFamiliar with the use of Google Suite applications, specifically with formulas on Google SheetsAmenable to work on a dayshift schedule in Makati (Hybrid work setup)Full-time position available
