The Procurement Management Expert is tasked to complete a variety of procurement activities and work on projects simultaneously. Supports collaborative cross-functional teams by analyzing spend and developing actionable sourcing strategies; implements these strategies and proactively manages the supply base within a given commodity. Description of Roles & Responsibilities: Pre-PR / PR Assist Proponents on Procurement requirements.

Upon receipt of PR, convenes a meeting with Proponent and Legal (if needed) to: better understand the requirement and agree on Sourcing framework/content, evaluation criteria and contract to use Agree on sourcing strategy and work plan RFP (Request for Pricing) Provide guidance to proponent on RFP development Work with Proponent to identify commercial requirements and operational risk exposures Agree with Proponent on the list of Bidders to be invited. Bidding / Negotiation Spearheads pre-bid conference with Bidders and proponent; discuss commercial portion Initiates Bid

Opening activities and endorse technical portion to Proponent for evaluation Buyer leads the commercial clarification and negotiation process. Provide Legal with Vendor's response to Contract SOC for evaluation for preferred Vendor/s. Both Proponent and Buyer shall integrate the result of the technical and commercial clarification/evaluation process to come up with a joint recommendation Endorse Bid Awarding Checklist to the Bid Decision Committee PO/Contract Issuance Prepare commercial annexes and sign-off final version, if applicable Prepare and issue PO within agreed SLA
