Your Role:

As a Finance Officer, you will:

Trust
· Ensuring business revenue and cash transactions are completed from the trust accounts to the business account promptly and accurately.
· Reconciling the buyer and seller accounts, trust and other accounts in a timely manner.
· Following the correct policies and procedures for auditing trust accounts.
· Ensuring compliance in alignment with relevant legislation and regulations.
· Ensuring accurate, complete, and on-time end of month close processes inclusive of reconciliation.
· Ensuring a robust process control over all trust transactions.
· Providing support in the respective state's audits as well as the overall EOY audit
Settlement
· Ensure all customers are paid accurately and on time
· Ensure processes are followed for customers that have payment exceptions
· Liaise with team and the sales division to ensure all billing and vehicle payments are completed accurately and in line with customer service agreements and KPIs.
· Liaise with account managers to ensure fees are approved in a timely manner
· Ensure that sales cancellations, refunds, manual billings are completed timely and accurately manner.
· Monitor completions and efficiency of the billing and payment process daily to ensure that when internal/external KPIs are not met, it is communicated to the sales team promptly.
· Manage open and outstanding order (Service and Sales order) balances monthly, using information to identify any missed billing and to implement processes to stop this re-occurring.
· Manage aged materials on the WIP and reach out to the different verticals to expedite their journey to auction
· Drive data integrity (timely action of open Service and Sales order), accurate accruals and maximise revenue conversion & collectability.
· Perform billing and payments analytics to support all the settlements processes and ad hoc analysis requirements.
· Ensure month end reporting is completed accurately and in a manner that meets KPI's.
· Perform any end of monthly tasks and additional tasks as required.
Accounts Payable
· Process invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
· Reconcile vendor statements.
· Liaise with the business to process invoices that have been parked
· Conduct the daily payment run for the respective company codes based on the agreed schedule
· Confirm customer bank account details
· Ensure vendor bank details are up todate
· Reconcile the trade creditors and GRIR GL on a monthly basis
· Respond to queries from vendors and the wider business
Credit Management
· Accurately allocate incoming funds to the respective customer accounts
· Reach out to customers who have aged debt
· Send statements to customers on a monthly basis
· Reconcile trade debtors and bad debt provision GL
· Respond to queries from customers about their invoices
· Respond to queries from the wider business
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
· Driving improvement and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
· Assist other team members in the finance department to implement the business improvements that have been identified

Stakeholder Management and Communication
· Provide support to other finance teams as required.
· Work with the wider business such as account managers and operations to achieve best outcomes
· Work with external parties such as customers and vendors to ensure all issues / concerns are resolved in a timely manner
Risk Management
· Ensure that all processes and controls are followed and adhered to
· Ensure that all legislative requirements are adhered to

What You Need:

A bachelor's degree in accounting, business or finance; Experience in a similar role or significant equivalent experience in a related industry.;Knowledge of SAP and business systems.; Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.A strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas in a collaborative team environmentStrong analytical and interpersonal skills.
