IT Technical Support Specialist

Join our team as an IT Technical Support Specialist and play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our central infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, troubleshooting complex IT issues, and maintaining the quality and safety of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the effective operation of our central infrastructure.
  • Deliver maintenance solutions that optimize the performance of clients' (and internal) IT equipment and infrastructure.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with planned maintenance work and contribute to plans to remove or mitigate such risks.
  • Ensure compliance with internal change management processes and work within Service Level Agreement (SLA) contractual timescales.
  • Troubleshoot IT issues and problem solve effectively from owning the request, diagnosis, escalations, and following up.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in an IT Technical Support environment.
  • Level 3 IT qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience in Windows Server, Windows 10, Office, DNS/DHCP, Networking basics, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Administration & Troubleshooting, Exchange, VMWare.
  • Anti-virus management and installation.
  • Advanced Windows Patching and Automation (scripting).
  • Working knowledge of Citrix.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • First-class skills with record keeping and documentation.
