WFH- MSP Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a specialized MSP Maintenance Engineer to become a subject matter expert for our internal tools and drive automation and best practices to improve client support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and continued operation of the tools the Helpdesk uses to manage and support the client base, as well as working with the Managed Services team to identify and resolve high-impact issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of existing core internal tools, including RMM, backup platform, and other platforms such as ConnectWise and Crewhu.
  • Collaboration with the NOC team to roll out patches, fixes, and updates across clients.
  • Regular audits on customer environments to ensure tools are properly set up, secured, and operational, and highlighting deficiencies where they exist.
  • Continuous process and tools improvement, including improving the configuration and utilization of existing core software tools and evaluating new technologies to improve service delivery and efficiency.
  • Providing training to employees on the process and use of internal tools.
  • Proactive services, including patching systems, automating computer setups, and assisting with administering and managing backup solutions.
  • Maintaining and updating API integrations used to connect internal tools with external vendors, enabling automation workflows and data exchange.
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Relevant certifications in cloud computing, network administration, or cybersecurity, such as AWS, Azure, Cisco, CompTIA, or CISSP.
    • At least 5 years of experience in the IT field, with at least 2 years of experience working within an MSP environment.
    • Strong experience with MS applications and technologies, including Azure, M365, and Intune.
    • Expert knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy, as well as scripting skills in PowerShell.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
