Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Ensures that the procurement requirements of the bank are timely addressed and at the most reasonable cost.
  2. Assists the Section with regards to the provision of efficient corporate services to all offices and branches of the bank.
  3. Keeps abreast with the latest trends in the implementation and activities related to procurement services.
  4. Evaluates / Analyzes market trends for the purpose of improving negotiation skills and purchasing leverage, spot pricing opportunities to reduce costs, etc.
  5. Conducts price canvass updates
  6. Develops and maintains strong diverse and multi-level networks (Suppliers / Vendors) and relationships internally and externally for the benefit of the Group.
  7. Ensures availability of the centralized monitoring / tracking for the statuses of all transactions. From the receipt of PRs, to canvassing, to issuance and closing of POs.
  8. Monitors the aging for all open items and ensures that items beyond SLA are properly coordinated to the SH for proper guidance / proper disposition Qualifications:
  9. Bachelor's Degree of any business-related course
  10. With at least one (1) year of experience in administrative and purchasing/business transactions
  11. Excellent negotiation skills
  12. Very good verbal and written communication skills
  13. Computer savvy
